We are excited to get to know you and your family, and we invite you to explore our schools, programs and Montessori way of life.
We are dedicated to providing an enriching and diverse learning experience for your child — both in the classroom through full enrollment, as well as Montessori programs offered through our remote learning and platform and other resources.
Traditionally, we begin the admissions process with a school tour that invites families to visit an AMA campus for walk-through and observation. We also have regular weekly information sessions, which are currently being conducted over video conference due to COVID-19 circumstances, and we hope to resume our walk-in format in the near future.

Admission Process
Submission of an Application and $75 Application Administration Fee.
AMA School Administrators will contact the applicants family to arrange a brief Parent/Guardian meeting on-campus or during a virtual conference.
Enrollment decisions are made by AMA within 2 days of the parent/guardian meeting.
Upon acceptance, enrollment placement is guaranteed with a security deposit and completed forms.

Waitlist
If child is not admitted upon completion of application process or requested start date, whichever is later, he or she shall be placed on the waitlist for the requested program and parent/guardian of child with highest priority on the waitlist shall be notified as soon as a spot in such program becomes available.

We recognize that every person — from faculty and staff to parent, child and family members — at AMA experiences privilege and oppression differently. It is our duty as Montessori educators to prepare our staff and environment to provide a safe and inclusive space for every member of our community. AMA is committed to taking a proactive approach to eliminating biases and/or racism in our environment. To that end, AMA is committed to:
- Engage in yearly ABAR training for all staff members;
- Recognize the biases and privilege that permeate our interactions with families, staff, and children;

- Incorporate lessons that teach how to acknowledge, honor, and celebrate our students, staff, and family differences.
Anti-bias/anti-racism work is ongoing due to the changing nature of a school community. It focuses on uplifting individuals to be proud of their uniqueness while honoring other individual’s differences while holding ourselves and our community accountable to practice and stay active in this work. AMA is dedicated to integrating and practicing ABAR education at all levels of the school community.
